Communities throughout the world are comprised of essential, integrated and interrelated systems.  Because these systems depend on and affect one another at many levels, healthy communities must strive for complementary rather than competitive solutions.

In the same way that the leadership of myregion.org developed their priorities, cities and counties within a region must first consider the effect local decisions will have on the region as a whole.  By understanding and valuing a regional perspective and a regional framework for the future, each of the systems will benefit and will collectively accelerate the region’s identity in the world marketplace.
